Does the Holiday Season get you feeling a little OVERwhelmed, OVERburdened, or OVERstressed? Looking at these images may help keep everything in perspective. It certainly does for me – that is why I decided to share them with you.
I gathered these from FaceBook and had captions for each of them but erased them. I am sure you can make up your own captions. And if you would be willing to share any I would love to see them in the comment box below.
Happy Thanksgiving.

I have no witty captions, but it just cracks me up that people in these places are usually not even fazed by these efforts … this is simply the way you transport stuff. If I express amazement or amusement to people like this, they don’t really understand. “How else would you transport it?” ha. I love it. Such ingenuity. I wish I had these incredible balancing skills. (likewise, I have always wished I could carry stacks of things on my head)

I too wish I could balance things on my head – better than Pilates for the core and my back. I tried once to carry a jerry can full of water atop my head and it was so difficult, it splashed out all over my shirt and I felt bad for loosing the precious liquid. I cried out “Mama Mia” in frustration every time the wet cold water hit my skin. My Tanzanian friend (and teacher on water carrying that day) who does not speak English now calls me Mamma Mia. We just laugh.

I just realized the guy with the bricks is walking his bike…how smart. “I don’t need no wagon, dolly or wheelbarrow when I gotta bike!”
Why make two trips?
The guy next to the mattresses needs to “RUN”!
What’s behind the couch? A piano?

I love your captions: My responses to your wonderful comments are:
Caption 1 ) Well said from Angie biker extraordinaire. Caption 2) two trips in whose world? for me it would be ten or more
Caption 3) so funny, but these sights are so common I am sure the guy didn’t even NOTICE the load that could at any moment fall over and kill him. Caption 4) Now that you mention it, there does look like there is something behind the couch. How can that be??
Thanks for playing.
